  It was another day, another game drive at Yala. Also another one with "Sam" from Daya Safari. The tour was amazing as always. We were lucky to see three leopards... read more along with elephants, wild boars and crocs etc. Highly recommend this company if you are a Wildlife Photographer who's eagerly scoping your lens for leopards and bears. And if you're a wildlife enthusiast who's appreciating the nature there's no company better than this.
FYI, I think "Sam" aka "Samitha" is one of the best driver/tracker whom I've ever met.

  Going on safari with Daya Safari was an unforgettable, unique experience offering an exciting mix of wildlife adventure.

  We booked 3 trips with Daya safari - Udawalawe (morning),Yala (whole day) and Bundala (morning). The experience was very enjoyable in every drive. Kavindu was our driver for all 3... read more trips. We felt very safe with his driving and he has keen eyes in wildlife spotting. If we needed to make a stop for photos, Kavindu was more than happy to do so. He also provided fruits and soft drinks in mid morning as well as lunch in Yala.

During safaris, we had seen 5 leopards including 2 cubs, 5 different types of eagles and close encounter with many elephants, one male with long tasks, plus large varieties of wetland birds and many wildlife. This has exceeded our expectation.

For morning safari drives, do bring extra clothing as weather was quite cool before sunrise. With the stunning scenery in the National Parks, there were plenty of photo opportunities.

Overall, we highly recommend Daya Safari and a big thank you to Kavindu!

Driver was very calm and pay more attention while driving in the early morning as there were heard of cattle and other animals in the paved road. Game driver has more knowledge on the animal behavior and give more space to animal without disturbing.

On this particular day we saw 3 leopards (one female and 2 cubs) and it was an unforgettable experience for my two little boys. We saw giant elephant and heard of Samba deer resting near water hole.

Overall, it was great experience and I will recommend Daya Safari for your Safari tours in Yala National Park Sri Lanka.
